Commercial concrete needs to withstand higher demands when it comes to is structural performance so it is made using a much stronger mix when compared with residential concrete. Commercial concrete also requires much heavier reinforcement to ensure it can withstand the pressure. Commercial concrete is extremely durable and when used it is expected to last a very long time.
Industrial Concrete
Industrial concrete is used in industrial buildings and projects. This would include factories, warehouses and power plants. Industrial concrete is the strongest of all concretes as it is designed to be able to withstand high traffic, heavy machinery and extreme temperatures. Industrial concrete is designed to withstand the most extreme pressures and demands. The main thing when it comes to industrial concrete is that is strong and extremely durable. It is made with special adhesives and very strong materials to ensure it is resistant to wear and tear. Industrial concrete has to be able to be resistant to harsh chemicals and substances as well as being able to withstand heavy loads and machinery.
Residential Concrete
Residential, or domestic concrete is used in residential properties including houses, apartments and such like. It is used throughout the whole structure including and architectural work, driveways, walls, floors and garages. It does not have to withstand the pressures of commercial and industrial concrete however it its still an extremely strong, durable mix to withstand the everyday pressures that come with a residential property.
